This postcard features the Spring Messenger otherwise known as Lesser Celandine and is a member of the buttercup family.

This little fellow prompted me to share a little window into my world;

An overcast and fragile warmth runs behind a chill touched breeze. The turning season looks to be one of a subtle tide rising to the fore, between the colours that have clung through winter. The evergreens and gorse, the throws of lichen and moss. Here, now, sap stirs in the effervescence of cambium and rises in the presence of this spring messenger.
